 Horses boarded at
Paynted
Chace Stables receive quality, attentive care. We feed quality
grain & hay and go to great lengths to keep our pastures full of grass
and good footing. Each horse is checked over several times a day and
is fed a twice weekly bran mash. Blanketing, fly spraying, & boots
are all included in the monthly board, as is any nutritional
supplements. As long as a horse has acceptable ground manners, we
can save our boarders an extra trip, by holding the horse for the
vet or farrier without an added handling fee.
Paynted Chace Stables sticks to a strict worming schedule for
preventative measures against colic and other health issues, yet
still allowing the owner to maintain control of their horse. Our
boarders have use of the lit blue stone ring from 5 AM to 9:30 PM,
which allows for a more convenient riding schedule during busy work
days and hot summer months. Our turn out schedule is matched to the
seasons, as well as inclement weather.
